November 01, 2013 by Andrea Miotto

The MindSee project officially began its activities on 1st October 2013, and held its  kick-off plenary meeting at the Technische Universität Berlin on the 28th - 29th October 2013, hosted by Professor Benjamin Blankertz.

Chaired by Professor Giulio Jacucci (Project Coordinator) of the University of Helsinki, the kick-off meeting was attended by the Consortium of 5 members from 4 European countries (Finland, Germany, Italy and United Kingdom).  The Project Coordinator introduced the project goals, workplan and main activities. Each of the project partners presented their specific contributions to the project. The project is represented by University of Helsinki, Aalto University, University of Padova, i2 media research, and Technische Universität Berlin.

Whilst, the meeting marked the launch of the project, allowing the partners to get to know each other and share common goals, it also heard of the running start made to the project at all partners.  Already, exciting experiments have been conducted and planned, and the project's user research has made important early contributions.
